Legal Secretary

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Working as part of a small but busy team on a full time basis, you will be responsible for a range of tasks which include:

Providing administrative and clerical support to lawyers and legal staff;

Answering and managing telephone calls and emails;
-
Preparing legal documents and correspondence;
-
Managing client files;
-
Diary management including scheduling appointments and meetings;
-
Liaising with clients, other businesses and government departments;
-
Maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional standards at all times.
About you:
You will ideally possess:
-
Previous experience in a legal assistant or administrative role (preferred);
-
Accurate touch typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software;

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
-
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, manage work priorities & multi-task to meet deadlines;
-
Professional demeanor and a commitment to client service;
-
Ability to develop positive work relationships with staff and clients and contribute to a positive team culture.
