Tamicca Amies
Solicitor
I am a Mackay local with strong family ties to the community. I have been working in the legal industry since 2016, when I commenced my career as a trainee legal administration assistant at a local law firm.
Over the years, I have progressed through a range of roles, including legal secretary, paralegal, law clerk and law graduate, gaining valuable experience both locally and in Brisbane across several areas of law, such as criminal, property, family, litigation and succession. In 2022, I returned to Mackay to join Wallace & Wallace Lawyers in their Family Law team. In 2024, I was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
Since my admission, I have practised exclusively in family law and am passionate about helping clients navigate what is often one of the most challenging periods of their lives. I understand that every family law matter is unique and strive to provide practical, compassionate and results-focused advice tailored to each client's individual circumstances.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my young family and making the most of everything our beautiful coastal region has to offer.
