I possess a broad range of experience including personal injury law across several jurisdictions (ACT, NSW, QLD and Federal) and commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
I began my legal career in 2002 as a trainee legal assistant, transitioning through the various roles while completing my studies. I hold a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Canberra and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. I was admitted to practice in 2012.
I consider myself to be a highly organised and motivated practitioner and believe that preparation is key. In the business world, time is money. Commercial disputes not only involve cost but also carry business risk. This requires a strategic, commercial, and practical approach. I find it extremely rewarding to be a part of a resolution that successfully achieves the desired commercial outcomes of my clients in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Outside of work, I am a mum to three young boys and enjoy family time exploring the local Mackay region, socialising with friends, and expanding my social and business networks.
