I am a litigation and dispute resolution lawyer with more than 21 years’ experience acting in matters ranging from straightforward debt recovery to complex, high stakes commercial disputes. My practice is built on clear strategy, disciplined advocacy, and a deep understanding of how litigation actually works in the real world - not just on paper.
I have appeared in hundreds of matters over the course of my career, both as a solicitor and as a barrister, and I bring that practical courtroom experience to every matter. Clients value my ability to cut through complexity, identify the real issues early, and provide advice that is both technically precise and commercially grounded.
I have a particular interest in insolvency and in assisting individuals and businesses facing financial distress. These matters are often overwhelming for clients, and I take pride in guiding them through the process with clarity, structure, and a focus on achieving the best possible outcome for their circumstances.
I currently serve as Chair of the Queensland Law Society’s Commercial Litigation Specialist Accreditation Advisory Committee, helping shape the standards and assessment of specialist practitioners in this field.
Outside the law, I’m a long distance runner and marathoner—a reminder that persistence, preparation, and pacing matter just as much in litigation as they do on the road. I’m also actively involved in the local community through various charitable and professional organisations.
