Natasha Baggow

Graduate Law Clerk

I was born and raised in Mackay where I completed my primary and secondary schooling. Upon completing school, I worked in the banking industry until I was accepted at the Queensland Police Academy in Townsville. I moved to Townsville where I completed my training and was sworn into the Queensland Police Service in 2002. I was posted to Bowen and then Mt Isa before returning home to Mackay.

At the end of my policing career in 2013 I commenced part time studies at Central Queensland University. Whilst juggling studies I worked full time mentoring young indigenous high school students as the Program Manager with AIME and ventured into the unknown of Coal Train Driving.  At the end of 2023 I graduated from Central Queensland University with a Bachelor of Laws. I commenced my Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2024, graduating in the same year.

In March 2025, I joined Wallace & Wallace Lawyers assisting in Commercial Litigation and Criminal Law. I have a passion for assisting people and advocating for them to obtain the best possible result during difficult times. Its important to assist my clients to have a positive experience during the litigation process.

Outside the law, I am my son’s full time Carer and am always advocating for his needs and ensuring that he lives his best life. I love spending time with the rest of my family, especially my daughter and my three very energetic grandchildren. To keep up with them I stay fit and healthy by attempting CrossFit after retiring from a long journey of representing my culture and state in Rugby League.  When I get some much-needed downtime, you will find me watching and attending as many sporting events and concerts as I can.
